What is KAMAGRA Oral Jelly?

KAMAGRA Oral Jelly is a brand name for Ajanta Pharma's Sildenafil Citrate Oral Jelly. This product is in the jelly form, meant to be consumed oraly it should be allowed to dissolve in the oral cavity before it is swallowed. More easily swallowed than tablets, KAMAGRA Oral Jelly is therefore suitable for elderly people and also people who have difficulty in swallowing.

How does KAMAGRA Oral Jelly work?

The physiologic mechanism of erection of the penis involves release of nitric oxide (NO) in the corpus cavernosum during sexual stimulation. NO then activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase which results in increased levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) producing smooth muscle relaxation in the corpus cavernosum and allowing inflow of blood. Sildenafil has no direct relaxant effect on isolated human corpus cavernosum but enhances the effect of NO (Nitric oxide) by inhibiting phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) which is responsible for degradation of cGMP in the corpus cavernosum. When sexual stimulation causes local release of NO, inhibition of PDE5 by Sildenafil causes increased levels of cGMP in the corpus cavernosum resulting in smooth muscle relaxation and inflow of blood to the corpus cavemosum.

Indications: It can take upto 45 minutes before KAMAGRA Oral Jelly starts to work and it stays working for upto 6 hours. KAMAGRA Oral Jelly is a potential oral therapy for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Also useful in antidepressant induced sexual dysfunction.

How much KAMAGRA Oral Jelly can I take?

The contents of 1 sachet of KAMAGRA Oral Jelly should be consumed approximately 15 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended dosing frequency of KAMAGRA Oral Jelly is once per day.

How much KAMAGRA Oral Jelly can I take?

KAMAGRA Oral Jelly is not for newborns or children. Do not let anyone else take your KAMAGRA Oral Jelly. KAMAGRA Oral Jelly must be used only under a doctor or healthcare advisor's supervision.

Before you start any treatment with KAMAGRA Oral Jelly, be sure to ask your doctor or healthcare advisor if your heart is healthy enough. If you're a man who uses nitrate drugs, like nitroglycerine, never take KAMAGRA Oral Jelly. The combination of KAMAGRA Oral Jelly and nitrates can make your blood pressure suddenly drop to unsafe levels. You could get dizzy, faint, or even have a heart attack or stroke. Nitrates are found in many prescription medications that are used to treat angina (chest pain due to heart disease) such as:

Nitroglycerin (sprays, ointments, skin patches or pastes, and tablets that are swallowed or dissolved in the mouth)
Isosorbide mononitrate and isosorbide dinitrate (tablets that are swallowed, chewed, or dissolved in the mouth)
Nitrates are also found in recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite ("poppers"). If you are not sure if any of your medications contain nitrates, or if you do not understand what nitrates are, ask your doctor, healthcare advisor or pharmacist.

Can I take KAMAGRA Oral Jelly with alcohol?

Drinking alcohol can temporarily impair the ability to get an erection. To get the maximum benefit from your medication, you are advised not to drink large amounts of alcohol before taking KAMAGRA Oral Jelly.

Precautions and Warnings

Not recommended for persons allergic to Sildenafil. Angina patients consuming nitrates and other anti-anginal drugs may use Sildenafil only under medical supervision and advice. Medical supervision is also required for patients who are under Cimetidine, Erythromycin, and Ketoconazole. Persons using any other MED drug must inform the physician before using Sildenafil. To be used with caution in people with liver and kidney impairment.

What are the side effects of KAMAGRA Oral jelly?

Like all medications, KAMAGRA Oral Jelly can cause some side effects. Headache, flushing, dyspepsia, dizziness, nasal congestion and blurring of vision.

These effects are normally mild to moderate in nature.
